The Seahawks have released OL Jarriel King after news emerged he had been arrested for sexual assault.
According to WCSC-TV in Charleston, S.C., King was arrested in February after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman who was highly intoxicated. On Monday, an arrest record stated that the lineman — along with another man — had forcible sex with a 25-year-old woman on Feb. 26 after returning from a nightclub.
Bond was set at $25,000. According to the Charleston County court website, both King and the other accuser posted bond the day after their arrests.
King, an undrafted free agent, played in one game in 2011, but did not start.
