The Dolphins have reached agreement on a contract with former Jaguars QB David Garrard, Tania Ganguli of The Florida Times-Union and Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com reported Monday.
Garrard, 34, did not play in 2011 after being released by Jacksonville before the season. He started 76 games for Jacksonville from 2002-10.
Garrard's addition would give Miami three quarterbacks on the roster, with Matt Moore and Pat Devlin the Dolphins' other signal callers. Moore finished the 2011 campaign as the starter after Chad Henne suffered a season-ending injury. Henne signed with Jacksonville last week.
