The Broncos and WLB Wesley Woodyard have agreed on a two-year contract, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Monday night.

Woodyard, 26, appeared in 15 games for Denver last season, starting seven. He notched a career-best 97 tackles, defended two passes and forced two fumbles.

"Wesley's heart is in Denver, so he is very pleased that we were able to come to terms," Woodyard's agent Tony Fleming said, according to Anderson.

The Broncos announced the re-signing of MLB Joe Mays on Sunday.
