Former Jaguars QB David Garrard is slated to visit the Dolphins this week, ESPN 760 in West Palm Beach, Fla. and Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported Sunday.
Garrard, 34, did not play in 2011 after being released by Jacksonville. He has made 76 career starts and has thrown for 16,003 yards with 89 TDs and 54 interceptions.
In mid-February, Garrard's agent, Albert Irby, told NFL.com that Garrard, who had back surgery after his release, would be "ready in 4-6 weeks."
The Dolphins, who have been looking for QB help, reportedly are hosting 49ers QB Alex Smith, an unrestricted free agent, on Sunday.
