The Bengals have agreed to a contract with Texans UFA CB Jason Allen, multiple media outlets have reported.
According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the contract is for two years and $8.2 million.
Allen played in all 16 games in 2011 (four starts), notching 45 tackles and intercepting four passes. Ten of his 15 career interceptions have come in the past two seasons. He was a first-round draft pick of the Dolphins in 2006 (16th overall).
The 6-1, 204-pound Allen figures to be one of the Bengals' top three cornerbacks. Leon Hall and Nate Clements were the starters a season ago. Hall is coming off an Achilles injury suffered in November.
