A day after he worked out for Broncos executives in Durham, N.C., Peyton Manning threw for members of the Titans' brass on Saturday in Knoxville, Tenn.

Titans GM Ruston Webster was among the people at the workout, and he issued a statement following the session.

"This morning we traveled to Knoxville and had a workout with Peyton," said Webster. "I thought he looked comfortable throwing the ball and we had a good visit. This is another important step in the process."

Manning is expected to sign with a team early next week. According to reports, the finalists are the Titans, Broncos and 49ers.
