The Patriots agreed to contract terms with former Colts free-agent WR Anthony Gonzalez, the team announced on its website Saturday. The terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.

In five seasons in Indianapolis, the injury-riddled Gonzalez had 99 receptions for 1,307 yards and seven touchdowns. Gonzalez has played in only 11 games over the past three seasons because of injuries.

Meanwhile, the Patriots continue to negotiate with Rams free-agent WR Brandon Lloyd, who also has drawn considerable interest from the 49ers.
