The Eagles have signed OG Evan Mathis to a five-year contract, the team announced Saturday. The deal is worth a reported $25 million.

PFW's 61st-ranked free agent, the 30-year-old guard returns to his spot blocking for Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy. Mathis started 15 games in 2011 for the Eagles after having spent time earlier in his career with the Bengals, Dolphins and Panthers.

The Ravens reportedly had an offer out for Mathis, as they are looking to replace Ben Grubbs, who signed with the Saints. However, their offer wasn't good enough to lure the veteran lineman away from the Eagles.
