Days after releasing him, the Cardinals have re-signed OT Levi Brown to a five-year contract, the team announced Friday.
Brown was cut on Tuesday after he was set to count for $17 million against Arizona's cap in 2012. He was brought back with a more cap-friendly deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The former first-round pick has been a mainstay on the Cardinals' line since entering the league. He has started 75 of the 77 career games in which he has played, and hasn't missed a game since 2007.
