One day after losing Carl Nicks to the Buccaneers via free agency, the Saints have found his replacement, signing the best guard still available.

New Orleans signed OG Ben Grubbs to a five-year deal reportedly worth $36 million with $16 million guaranteed and a $10 million signing bonus.

Grubbs started all 16 games from 2008-10 for the Ravens. He made the Pro Bowl last season despite playing in only 11 games — all starts. He was PFW's 16th-ranked free agent in its list of the Top 100 free agents.

Nicks signed with Tampa Bay on Wednesday for five years and $47.5 million.
