The Giants have signed S Chris Horton to give a boost to their special teams. The contract is a one-year deal.

Out of football last season after being cut by the Redskins in training camp, Horton will provide depth in the secondary and be a boost to the special teams. He had nine tackles with Washington in 2010 and also started 10 games — while recording 57 tackles and three interceptions — as a rookie in 2008.
