The Cowboys continued to add to their secondary, signing former Jets S Brodney Pool. Head coach Jason Garrett confirmed the signing to reporters on a conference call.
A seventh-year veteran, Pool played for the Browns from 2005-09 before joining the Jets. Last season, Pool played in 14 games with six starts, recording 36 tackles, three passes defensed and one interception.
In his career, Pool has 5½ sacks, 48 passes defensed and 13 picks.
