Former Cowboys TE Martellus Bennett is staying in the NFC East, signing with the rival Giants on Wednesday.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Bennett signed a one-year, $2.5 million deal.
The fourth-year veteran has spent his career with Dallas, totaling 85 catches for 846 yards and four touchdowns. All four of those scores came in his rookie season in 2008.
Bennett went 17-144-0 last season in 14 games and seven starts. Giants TEs Jake Ballard and Travis Beckum both suffered torn ACLs in the Super Bowl, moving the tight end position high up the team's offseason priority list.
