The Jets waived WR Michael Campbell and released S Gerald Alexander, the team announced Wednesday.

Campbell spent part of last season on the practice squad. He was an undrafted rookie out of Temple.

Alexander joined the Jets on Dec. 13 after being waived by the Dolphins earlier in the season. He played in one game. In 2009, Alexander played in 15 games with 10 starts, recording 55 tackles.
