The Colts have acquired OT Winston Justice in a trade with the Eagles. The deal also involved a swap of sixth-round draft choices.
Justice played six seasons in Philadelphia after being a second-round pick for the team in 2006. He played in 47 games during that time span, starting 31 of them.
In the trade, the teams swap sixth-round picks in the upcoming NFL draft. The Eagles will now pick second in that round and the Colts will select 17th.
The way we see it
With 2011 first-rounder Anthony Castonzo entrenched at left tackle, the Colts could plug Justice in on the right side, which would allow them to slide 2011 second-rounder Ben Ijalana to guard, where upgrades are needed.
At 27, the athletic Justice has upside, but he was virtually a nonfactor in Philly last season.
