The Giants have agreed to a contract with CB Terrell Thomas, ESPN's Adam Schefter first reported Tuesday.

The 27-year-old Thomas missed the 2011 season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the preseason. He was a starter in 2009 and '10, intercepting five passes in each of those seasons. In 2010, Thomas had 101 tackles in 15 starts with 21 passes defensed and four forced fumbles.

The deal is reportedly a four-year contract worth $28.4 million with $11 million guaranteed. Thomas confirmed the contract in an interview on SiriusXM NFl Radio. There is an option in the contract that could get the Giants out of it if Thomas' knee does not hold up.

"It's a GREAT day to be a NEW YORK GIANT!" Thomas wrote on Twitter this morning.
