Three Lions players have agreed to restructure their contracts in an effort to give the team more salary-cap space.

Though specific details were not released, DT Ndamukong Suh, QB Matthew Stafford and WR Nate Burleson have all agreed to restructure their deals, according to various reports. Fox Sports Detroit talked to Suh's agent, Roosevelt Barnes, who said his client restructured his deal by "a significant amount." Suh's base salary was to be $9.25 million for this coming season.

Tim Twentyman, who writes for the team's official website, said that both Stafford and Burleson also have reworked their deals. Stafford was set to earn $11.5 million in 2012 and Burleson was set to make $4 million.
