The Bears tendered a qualifying offer to restricted free-agent RB Kahlil Bell on Monday, the team announced.

Bell rushed for 337 yards on 79 carries last season as the third-string back behind Matt Forte and Marion Barber. He started three of the final four games of the season and rushed for 121 yards against the Packers in Week 16.

Bell also had 19 catches for 133 yards and a receiving score on the year. Forte received the team's franchise designation and Barber is currently under contract for 2012.
