The Bills re-signed TE Scott Chandler to a two-year contract extension.
"Reunited and it feels so good!!! Blessed to be back with the Bills! Nowhere else I want to be!" Chandler tweeted.
His agent, Rick Smith, confirmed to Scout.com's Aaron Wilson that it is a two-year deal.
Chandler tied the Bills' franchise record for touchdown catches by a tight end, hauling in six scores last season. In 14 games and nine starts, Chandler had 38 catches for 389 yards. He entered the season with one career catch in 14 games played since joining the NFL in 2007.
The way we see it
Chandler is not going to stretch the seam for the Bills, but he was very effective in the red zone in a breakout year last season. He is also skilled at run blocking and worked very well in Chan Gailey's offense. Buffalo has now locked up its top two offensive free agents, as it re-signed WR Stevie Johnson on Monday.
