It has been hard for Eagles fans to watch the meteoric rise of Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul, now a Super Bowl champion, from raw junior-college prospect to Pro Bowl talent in two seasons. The frustrating irony is that when the Eagles chose DE Brandon Graham with the 14th pick in the 2010 draft, they did so believing he was a far more polished and game-ready player than Pierre-Paul, who went to the Giants with the next pick. GM Howie Roseman said the Eagles still very much believe in Graham, whose career has been derailed so far by injuries, as a player who will thrive. "We have high expectations for Brandon Graham. He's still a young guy," Roseman said. "He had a high ankle sprain; defensive lineman with a high ankle sprain, that's a tough injury. Then obviously he had a major knee injury, and that takes a lot of time to get back. We knew this year was going to be a struggle for him. He's trying to be the kind of player that we know and he knows he can be and he sees that out there and he wants more for himself."
