The Bengals have hired former offensive line coach Jim McNally as a consultant. He will work part time with OL coach Paul Alexander.
McNally has spent 28 years in the NFL as a coach, 15 of them with the Bengals. His role will be to help break down film of the Bengals and their opponents, along with making occasional visits to the team's offseason camps and training camp.
McNally coached the Bengals' O-line from 1980-94. He also has spent time on the staffs of the Panthers, Giants, Bills and Jets.
"Jim began his National Football League career with us and we've always thought highly of his abilities," Bengals president Mike Brown said in a statement. "He has a very good relationship with Paul Alexander that goes back a long way."
