Falcons DE John Abraham is likely to hit the free-agent market, according to NFL.com.

Abraham's agent, Rich Rosa, said that's the feeling he has gotten, based on contract talks with the club.

Besides Abraham, the Falcons have key defensive players in MLB Curtis Lofton and CB Brent Grimes, both of whom they'd like to re-sign before they become unrestricted free agents March 13.

After beginning his career with the Jets, Abraham has spent six seasons in Atlanta, recording 58½ sacks. He will turn 34 in May.
