The Eagles and DT Cullen Jenkins agreed on restructuring his contract to keep him in Philadelphia for the 2012 season.
"We are very excited about having Cullen back on our football team," said GM Howie Roseman, according to one of the team's Twitter feeds. "Cullen made an immediate impact for us this year on and off the field. We look forward to a great future together with him."
Jenkins, an eighth-year veteran, had 40 tackles and 5½ sacks in his first season with the Eagles. He started all 16 games for only the second time in his career. Jenkins began his career with the Packers, spending seven seasons in Green Bay.
Philadelphia signed Jenkins last offseason to a five-year deal and he was reportedly due a $5 million roster bonus on March 13. The details of his restructured contract are unknown.
