The NFL has suspended Steelers TE Weslye Saunders for four games, Aaron Wilson of Scout.com reported on Twitter early Tuesday morning.
The report didn't disclose which NFL policy the 23-year-old Saunders is alleged to have run afoul of.
Saunders, who will be entering his second NFL season, caught four passes for 29 yards and a touchdown in 2011. He went undrafted out of South Carolina after being dismissed from the program in 2010.
Saunders was the Steelers' third tight end last season.
