The Packers have denied the Buccaneers' request to interview TE coach Ben McAdoo for their offensive coordinator vacancy, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reported Tuesday.

McAdoo, according to the NFL Network, is expected to become Green Bay's QB coach, replacing Tom Clements, the club's new offensive coordinator. Clements replaced Joe Philbin, who became the Dolphins' head coach.

The Buccaneers previously tried to interview Cardinals assistant John McNulty for their offensive coordinator vacancy, but the request was denied. McNulty, who has coached Arizona's wideouts the last three seasons, will reportedly become the Cardinals' QB coach.

McNulty was previously an assistant under Greg Schiano at Rutgers. The Buccaneers hired Schiano as head coach on Jan. 27. According to La Canfora, who cited "league sources," Schiano is "struggling to put a staff together" in Tampa Bay.
