Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno was arrested for DUI last week in Denver, the team reported on Monday in a statement.

"We take the incident involving Knowshon Moreno very seriously, and are thoroughly reviewing this matter," the statement read. "Our organization will continue to gather information and closely monitor this issue while the legal process runs its course."

According to the Denver Post, Moreno was pulled over on Feb. 1 while driving a Bentley at around 70 mph on Interstate 25. The speed limit is currently 45 mph because it is a construction zone.

Moreno is rehabbing from ACL surgery, performed last season after he sustained a knee injury in Week 10. The former first-round pick has struggled during his three seasons in the NFL.
