NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced Friday that the NFL Network will televise five additional regular-season games in 2012 on "Thursday Night Football."

The Thursday-night schedule will feature 13 games from Weeks 2-15 (skipping Week 12 because of Thanksgiving). Every team will have at least one prime-time game in 2012.

"Adding these games to the NFL Network schedule will give more players, teams, and cities the prime-time stage," Goodell said. "Our fans can now get an early start on the NFL weekend in the season's first 15 weeks."

The NFL Network also will unveil a Spanish-language NFL RedZone channel in 2012.
