The Giants' full roster practiced on Wednesday, the team's first time on the field since arriving in Indianapolis two days ago for Super Bowl XLVI.

According to PFWA pool reporter Peter King of Sports Illustrated, RB Ahmad Bradshaw surprisingly participated in the 80-minute practice on the University of Indianapolis' campus. Bradshaw had been on the injury report last week while the team was practicing in New Jersey, but he, along with CB Corey Webster, DE Osi Umenyiora , LB Jacquian Williams and  WR Hakeem Nicks, saw limited practice time on Wednesday. The rest of the roster participated fully.

King said the Giants appeared to be "exuberant and loose" during their time on the field. Head coach Tom Coughlin agreed, saying, "This was a good, spirited, up-tempo practice. There are a few things we will clean up, obviously, and we want to be better tomorrow and build to our best work on Friday."

Bradshaw typically sits out the first day of practice each week for the Giants to rest his injured right foot, but since the team only has four days of preparation for the biggest game of the season, the veteran back decided to give it a go. Coughlin said Bradshaw told trainer Ronnie Barnes he "wants to be a part of this," according to King's report.

The Giants will practice on the Indianapolis campus again Thursday and Friday, then have a short walk-through on Saturday.
