The Steelers confirmed Tuesday that they interviewed former Chiefs head coach Todd Haley for the team's offensive coordinator position.

The post is vacant after the team parted ways with Bruce Arians, who was reportedly hired as the Colts' offensive coordinator.

Haley was fired 13 games into the 2011 season after having guided the Chiefs to the playoffs in 2010. Haley spent time as an offensive coach with the Jets, Bears, Cowboys and Cardinals. He was rumored to be under consideration by the Jets and Cardinals for assistant positions this offseason.
