The Jets announced on Tuesday they have hired Dave DeGuglielmo as their offensive line coach.

The move reunites DeGuglielmo with Tony Sparano, the new offensive coordinator for the Jets. The two had worked together the past three seasons in Miami, with Sparano as head coach and DeGuglielmo as the Dolphins' offensive line coach.

DeGuglielmo has worked with several Pro Bowl players over the years, including Dolphins OLT Jake Long. He coached the line that helped Miami RB Reggie Bush reach 1,000 yards for the first time in his career last season.

The Jets have talent along their front five but struggled last season to protect QB Mark Sanchez.
