The Browns have named as Tim Hauck their defensive backs coach. Hauck was out of the NFL last season, but previously worked as the Titans' assistant secondary coach in 2009-10.

Hauck played safety in the NFL for 13 years, playing with the Patriots, Packers, Broncos, Seahawks, Colts, Eagles and 49ers.

Cleveland ranked second in the NFL in opposing passing yards per game last season under DB coach Jerome Henderson, who left to take the same job with the Cowboys.
