Although Oakland has no draft picks in the first four rounds of the upcoming draft, there is good news for whoever becomes the next head coach of the Raiders. Unlike last season, when Hue Jackson lost CB Nnamdi Asomugha, OT Robert Gallery and TE Zach Miller in free agency before he could even coach his first game, the team will not be facing a major overhaul this offseason. Only a handful of starters are set to hit the open market, and much of the roster that has gone 8-8 each of the past two seasons is set to return. New GM Reggie McKenzie will have to work to re-sign a couple of key contributors, however. On offense, RB Michael Bush and ORT Khalif Barnes are free agents, with both players likely to receive pay raises based on their play last season. Defensively, the top priority is clearly SS Tyvon Branch, who led the team with 109 tackles last season. Regardless of who the coach is, he likely will want those three players in his lineup.
