Jets owner Woody Johnson spoke to the media on Thursday, addressing a number of topics.

This has been an offseason full of drama for the Jets following a disappointing 8-8 campaign. Players have complained about QB Mark Sanchez, WR Santonio Holmes and the overall lack of chemistry in the locker room.

"I dont think the whole locker room is toxic. I think there were clearly a few players who had conflicts," Johnson said. The owner did speak on MSNBC last week, but this was his first time talking to Jets beat writers about the team since the season ended.

With regards to Sanchez and Holmes, Johnson said, "They won a lot of games togethera nd one is good for the other. Santonio makes the quarterback a lot better and vice-versa. They have a good reason to iron this thing out and I think they can do it."

Johnson confirmed that Holmes will be with the team next season. "He may be one of the best players we've ever had here. ... He's extraordinarily talented," he said.

Johnson also showed his confidence in Sanchez. "Despite some of the reports, he's a very hard worker. He can do everything that you want a quarterback to do. When he has the confidence, which I think he'll have this year, ... he's had a lot of success in his life," the owner said.

When asked about possibly pursuing Peyton Manning, should he become available, Johnson said, "We're going to look at every possibility."
