Consistency and availability have defined Ravens SLB Jarret Johnson's career in Baltimore. The ninth-year pro from Alabama has played in 129 consecutive regular-season games and started 80 regular-season contests in a row, both franchise records. The 6-3, 260-pound Johnson, who notched 56 tackles and 2½ sacks in 2011, is one of many stout presences on an annually productive and tough defense. In a recent interview with PFW, OLB Terrell Suggs said Johnson's physicality and feistiness stand out. "He's definitely one of the toughest guys we've got, not only on defense, but on this team," said Suggs, part of the same draft class as Johnson in 2003. "He's a Webster's Dictionary version of a blue-collar guy. He just shows up to work. When it comes to outside linebackers and playing physical against the run, there is no one better than Jarret Johnson." Johnson, 30, is slated to be an unrestricted free agent at season's end.
