Steelers S Troy Polamalu won his appeal of a $10,000 fine for using a cell phone on the sideline of a game, NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports, citing a league source.
Polamalu was initially fined after using his cell phone near the Steelers' bench during the Oct. 16 game against Jacksonville. He reportedly made a brief call to his wife after leaving the game with concussion-like symptoms.
NFL rules strictly prohibit the use of any electronic devices in the bench area from 90 minutes before the start of a game until the end of the game.
