Packers head coach Mike McCarthy told the media that offensive coordinator Joe Philbin wasn't with the team Wednesday and that Philbin would be away from the team indefinitely as he mourns following the drowning death of his 18-year-old son, Michael.

McCarthy, who got choked up during his press conference Wednesday, said that he and the rest of his offensive assistant coaches are dividing up Philbin's responsibilities and will continue to do so as long as is needed. McCarthy said that Philbin is with his family, "where he's supposed to be."
