The Jets fined ILB Bart Scott $10,000 for giving the middle finger to a photographer in the locker room on Monday, the team confirmed.

Scott flipped the photographer off while cleaning out his locker. "Bart's actions were inappropriate and unacceptable," the Jets said in a statement released on Twitter.

The team fined head coach Rex Ryan $50,000 for the same action in 2010 when he did it to fans at an MMA event.

Scott is reportedly a candidate to be cut this offseason. NFL Network's Mike Lombardi reported that the Jets can get out of paying Scott any guaranteed money. He had 66 tackles this season, his lowest total since 2004.
