Here are the Vikings' players of the week on offense, defense and special teams in their 17-13 season-ending loss to the Bears at home:

Offense: WR Percy Harvin

Harvin once again was a gamer, reeling in 10 passes for 115 yards and taking five handoffs for 13 yards and a touchdown. He caught a big third-down conversion on the first scoring drive, had a TD run to give the Vikings a 10-0 lead and rang up six of the team's 10 longest plays on the day.

Defense: DE Jared Allen

Is there any question? Allen turned in a heroic effort, ringing up 3½ sacks, even though he came up just short of the NFL's all-time mark of 22½ by Michael Strahan. Allen embarrassed Bears OLT J'Marcus Webb to the point that the Bears started using two tight ends to block Allen. His motor was on full hum most of the season, and the fact that he thrived with so many problems around him is remarkable.

Special teams: P Chris Kluwe

Kluwe finished off another strong season with six quality punts, averaging 46 yards per kick. When Devin Hester is on the other end, you usually hold your breath. Not Sunday. Hester was held in check with two returns for four total yards with two of Kluwe's kicks going out of bounds. He landed two inside the 20-yard line and directionally kicked very well.
