The Rams reportedly will get an early crack at former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher.

According to Sports Illustrated's Peter King, Fisher will interview for the Rams' head-coaching job this week. The Rams fired head coach Steve Spagnuolo and GM Billy Devaney on Monday morning.

Fisher coached the Titans from 1994-2010 and spent time as a defensive coordinator and assistant before that for the 49ers, Rams, Eagles and Bears.

Fisher's agent, Marvin Demoff, is the father of Rams COO Kevin Demoff.

The way we see it

Fisher might be the most sought-after head-coaching candidate, and he reportedly wants to be with a team that has a quarterback in place, and the Rams have Sam Bradford. Fisher also has been connected to the Chargers, who still have Norv Turner as their coach. TheColts, if they fire Jim Caldwell, and Dolphins also will be teams that are likely to court Fisher.
