The Jets' season-ending drama trickled into Monday at the team's facility, as did reports about coaches and players going elsewhere.
The New York Daily News reported Sunday night that defensive coordinator Mike Pettine has drawn interest from the Dolphins for their head-coaching position. Pettine called plays for the unit this season.
According to Newsday, ILB Bart Scott might have played his last game in a Jets uniform. Scott finished with 66 tackles — his fewest since 2004. He did record 4½ sacks. Per the report, Scott, 31, is due $5.6 million in 2012.
Scott did not talk to the media on Monday, but when asked about coming back next season, he said, "All I know is I got a guaranteed contract for $4 million," according got Conor Orr of The (Newark) Star-Ledger. Scott also flipped off a photographer, ESPN New York's Rich Cimini tweeted.
Also on Monday, CB Darrelle Revis did not talk to the media and neither did WR Santonio Holmes, who was benched late in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins that eliminated the Jets from the playoffs. Per Jenny Vrentas of The Star-Ledger, Holmes was escorted out of the locker room by Jets PR staff.
GM Mike Tannenbaum will join head coach Rex Ryan at a 3 p.m. ET press conference.
