The Steelers will likely be without RB Rashard Mendenhall for their playoff game next weekend in Denver.

Mendenhall suffered a knee injury in Sunday's win over the Browns. Head coach Mike Tomlin said that it could be a torn ACL and that Mendenhall is not expected to play vs. the Broncos.

In 15 games this season, Mendenhall rushed for 928 yards. He had eight carries for 38 yards before the injury occurred in Week 17.

Isaac Redman replaced Mendenhall and had 19 carries for 92 yards and a touchdown. Mewelde Moore was inactive for Week 17. The team also has RB John Clay.

It's also unclear if S Ryan Clark will play against the Broncos. In 2007, Clark, who has a sickle-cell trait, lost his spleen, gall bladder and more than 30 pounds after playing in Colorado's high altitude. He did not play the rest of that season, nor did he play when the Steelers traveled to Denver in 2009.

Clark is the team leader in tackles and he had a sack on Sunday.
