Major questions for Chargers' receivers

Heading into the offseason, there is great uncertainty when it comes to the Chargers' receiving corps. Top target Vincent Jackson will be a free agent, and though he may return with a long-term deal or the franchise tag, he may opt to move on after experiencing some friction with the front office the past two years. TE Antonio Gates will be 32 when training camp begins next summer and has a lingering foot injury, something that may never be fully healed. Another injury concern, WR Malcom Floyd, played well at the end of the season but was missing in action for much of the season. Slot WR Patrick Crayton doesn't always give maximum effort and may move on in free agency. The only sure bet to return with a major role in 2012 is WR Vincent Brown. A team insider said the rookie has an "extremely bright future" and will benefit greatly from OTAs, something he didn't have this past summer.
