Titans will address anemic pass rush in offseason

Titans DLE Derrick Morgan is finally healthy — and playing his best football. Morgan, the 10th overall selection in the 2010 draft, has had a frustrating start to his career because of injuries but appears to be starting to break through. He has notched 12 tackles the past two weeks and sources say he is playing with more explosion. Arguably Morgan's best game as a pro came in Week 16, when he made seven tackles — including one tackle for a loss — and a pass batted down. Still, a source quickly noted that saying Morgan played his best game isn't saying much, as he has been a nonfactor up until now. Moreover, Morgan was drafted to be a pass rusher, but he has just 3½ sacks in his first 18 games played. Word is, even if Morgan begins to show the pass-rushing prowess he displayed at Georgia Tech, finding another guy who can consistently get in the backfield from off the edge will be a top offseason priority for the team.
