The Chiefs signed PK Ryan Succop to a five-year, $14 million contract extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Succop, the last player picked in the 2009 NFL draft, has made 24-of-29 field-goal attempts this season and is a perfect 90-for-90 on extra points in his career. Thirty of Succop's 57 kickoffs this season have gone for touchbacks. His longest field goal this season was from 54 yards out.

Succop was in the final year of his three-year rookie contract.
