Approaching the postseason, it appears the starting right outside linebacker spot occupied most of the season by Erik Walden couldn't be more wide open. Since his arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence shortly after the Packers' Thanksgiving Day victory over the Lions, Walden's play has regressed significantly, particularly in the loss to the Chiefs, from which he was pulled late in the game. A host of players appear to be in the mix for the starting ROLB job, with Frank Zombo, who was surprisingly effective in eight starts as a rookie last season, probably having the best shot at replacing Walden. Assorted injuries have taken their toll this season on Zombo, who has struggled more often than not when he's been able to play. Other challengers to man up opposite Clay Matthews include Brad Jones, another former starter, and undrafted rookies Jamari Lattimore and fan favorite Vic So'oto.
