The Browns signed rookie WR Owen Spencer to the practice squad on Wednesday, the club announced.

Spencer, 24, has had four prior stints with NFL clubs in his short career. He previously had been a practice-squad player with Seattle, Detroit and Minnesota. The Titans signed him as an undrafted free agent in July.

Spencer (6-3, 215) played collegiately at North Carolina State, catching 126 passes for 2,441 yards and 15 TDs in four seasons.
