With three of the Bears' five 2011 draft picks on injured reserve, it was another relatively quiet day for the team's rookies in Week 16.
Undrafted WR Dane Sanzenbacher had one of his more productive games of the season, though, making four catches for 51 yards. He was targeted by QB Josh McCown seven times — only WR Roy Williams was targeted more often. Sanzenbacher is tied with Devin Hester for fourth on the team in receptions with 25.
Sunday marked the debut of RB Armando Allen, who was called up from the practice squad last week. He backed up Kahlil Bell and had some nice runs, gaining 40 yards on 11 carries (3.6 average).
On defense, second-round pick DT Stephen Paea was credited with making four tackles, but he did not record any QB hits or sacks. Undrafted rookie S Winston Venable was in on a couple of special-teams tackles.
Chicago's fifth-round pick, QB Nathan Enderle, was inactive Sunday, so the Bears feel more comfortable with Caleb Hanie, who was active, backing up McCown than they do with Enderle at this point.
