PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush offers his prediction for the Week 16 showdown vs. the Bears on Christmas night at Lambeau Field.
Earlier this week, I wrote that the Bears, in their present state, would be lucky to get within three touchdowns of the Packers in this game. But after talking to a lot of close team sources as the week has worn on, I'm starting to think that I might have underrated the Bears just a bit. I still don't think they have a real good chance at all to pull off an upset. But I can see Julius Peppers making life miserable for the Packers' ailing O-line, and Bears RB Kahlil Bell is a very intriguing weapon, I think.
So let's make two TDs the margin of victory instead, with the Packers' defense scoring at least one TD and setting up maybe a couple of others.
Prediction: Packers 28, Bears 14
