Bears RB Marion Barber (calf) is inactive for the Christmas night game at Green Bay, putting No. 3 RB Kahlil Bell into the starting role. However, starting WLB Lance Briggs (ankle), WR-KR Devin Hester (ankle) and DT Henry Melton (shin) are all active for Chicago after having been listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.

Others on the Bears' inactive list besides Barber are DT Anthony Adams, QB Jay Cutler, QB Nathan Enderle, RB Matt Forté, OT Levi Horn and TE Andre Smith.

QB Josh McCown will get his first start of the season for Chicago. Undrafted rookie RB Armando Allen will back up Bell. Allen will be playing in his first NFL game.

For the Packers, DE Mike Neal (shoulder) is active. Green Bay's inactive list includes OT Bryan Bulaga, OT Chad Clifton, QB Graham Harrell, DB Davon House, WR Greg Jennings, DE Ryan Pickett and LB Frank Zombo.

Marshall Newhouse will replace Bulaga at left tackle, and T.J. Lang will move from left guard to right tackle, with Evan Dietrich-Smith filling in at left guard.
