The Lions, looking for more depth in their secondary, have re-signed CB Brandon McDonald and released DE Keyunta Dawson.

McDonald, who played in 11 games for the Lions this season before being released earlier in December, might suit up for the team on Saturday when they take on the Chargers. S Louis Delmas is battling a right knee injury and CBs Aaron Berry and Chris Houston are also banged up.

Dawson played in two games this season for Detroit, recording one tackle.
